Zoo! Zoologico!

We went to the Zoo! Fuimos al zoologico!

After 3 hours on a bus, and a snack, we went and saw animals we have never seen before!

There was lots of trash at the zoo.
Habia mucha basura en el zoologico.

So we picked up as much as we could.
Entonces, recogimos la mas que pudimos.

It was so much fun. Check out our pictures on Miss Tara's Photo page.

More Animal Work!

Today we worked some more on our animals. We made the arms, legs, heads and tails. Then we were supposed to cover them with more glue and tissue paper. I am not sure it is going to work, but we are trying anyway! Check out all the pictures on Miss Tara's Picture Page; under School Pics.

We've been working very hard on drawing our animals. Today we finally finished and picked our very best drawing. We were so tired of drawing our animal, but it is what helped us to do a great job.

Hemos estado trabajando mucho en dibujar nuestros animales. Hoy, finalmente, terminamos y elegimos nuestro mejor dibujo.

Paper Mache

Today we started work on our animals. We blew up balloons, tied them to string, and then got really messy! We covered them with newspaper dipped in glue, water & flour. On Monday they will be firm enough to begin adding the rest of the parts of the animal, like the arms, legs & head.

We have started our expedition. We are studying about Australian animals. Each one of us has an animal that we will become an expert on. Here are some of our first drafts.
