Observation Observar

Here we are practicing our observation skills. We recorded what we could see, hear, smell, and feel.
Aqui estamos practicando nuestras habilidades de observar. Escribimos lo que pudimos ver, escuchar, oler y tocar.
We had a hard time being quiet and listening so we closed our eyes to better help us listen.
Tuvimos un tiempo dificil en escuchar entonces ceramos nuestros ojos para mejor escuchar.

New Student Estudiante Nuevo

We got a new student this week. Alberto moved up from first grade. He is having lots of fun and getting along great with the other students.

Teniamos un estudiante nuevo esta semana. Alberto movio de primero grado a nuestro curso. El esta gozando mucho y se lleva muy bien con los otros estudiantes.

Let's Have Fun!

The last few weeks have been a blur. We’ve been trying to catch up from when Miss Tara was sick. We are fast learners and we love to do activities. We are learning about subtraction, Australian landforms, animals needs and practicing time of day vocabulary in English class. We get our report cards on Friday. “I’m a little nervous” says Noemi. Soon we will be having Outdoor Education Week where we study about water. “I’m so excited to go to the lake” says Ben. Please pray for our friend Adrian (pictured with Miss Tara). He is having a hard time getting used to our school and can be violent or emotional. We know God is powerful and that Adrian is a precious child of our powerful God.

Las ultimas semanas pasaron muy rapido. Hemos estado intentando a recuperar el trabajo de cuando Miss Tara estuvo enferma. Somos aprendizejes rapidos y nos encanta hacer las actividades. Estamos aprendiendo resta, las formas de la tierra en Australia, los animales y sus necesidades y vocabulario de tiempo en la clase de ingles. Recibiremos los reportes de progreso el viernes. “Estoy un poco nerviosa” dice Noemi. Pronto tendremos La Semana de Educaccion Ambiental donde vamos a estudiar agua. “Estoy my emocionado para ir al lago” dice Ben.
Por favor, de orar por nuestro amigo Adrian (en la foto con Miss Tara). Le ha costado mucho acostumbrarse a nuestro colegio y a veces es violento o muy emocional. Sabemos que Dios es poderoso y que Adrian es un hijo precioso de ese Dios poderoso.

Good Bye Nos Vemos

This week we lost our dear friend Idarlenne. She had to return to first grade so that she could learn to read. We miss her a lot, but she is doing well in first grade. We still get to play and eat with her. Please pray for her and that she could read.

Esta semana perdimos nuestra querida amiga Idarlenne. Ella tuvo que volver a primer grado para que pudiera aprender leer. La hacemos mucha falta, pero ella tiene mucho exito en primero. Todavia podemos jugar y comer con ella. Por favor, ora por ella y que puede aprender a leer.

Hoy fue el cumpleanos de Isabela. Fuimos al base de Jucum. Lo pasamos super bien y gozamos mucho!

Something New Algo Nuevo

It's a new school year! It was a rough start since Miss Tara was sick with typhoid fever for a week. But thanks to God, she is now healthy and back at work. We are beginning to learn and see new things. Please pray for us this year.

Es un nuevo ano escolar! Fue un comienz0 dificil porque Miss Tara estuvo enferma con fiebre tifus. Gracias a Dios ella esta sana y trabajando otra vez. Estamos empezando a aprender y ver cosas nuevas. Ora por nosotros, por favor.

We Made It! Lo Hicimos!

Well, we finished our expedition, made our zoo, became experts on our Australian animals. Now we have finished up the year with a crazy week of pajamas, backwards clothes and twin day. Terminamos nuestra expedicion, hicimos nuestro zoologico, y nos convertimos en expertos en nuestros animales australianos.
